Meet Our Experienced Reston Dental Team

Dr. Ji Su Oh is a general dentist who provides patient-focused care with an emphasis on comfort and long-term oral health. Born in South Korea and raised in Virginia, she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Virginia and her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Virginia Commonwealth University. She has volunteered with Mission of Mercy and Give Kids a Smile and completed advanced training in complex restorative dentistry. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Ji Su Oh enjoys spending time with her dog, Lucky, and watching Korean dramas.

Dr. Evbu Sharon Osakue is passionate about general dentistry and she believe in conservative preventative dentistry. She enjoys doing restorative dentistry with regards to resin restorations and prosthetic crowns/bridges. Her main focus is educating the patients to help them avoid developing cavities and gum disease in the first place.

Dr. Ava Arabshahi DDS is a highly skilled and compassionate general dentist dedicated to providing comprehensive oral healthcare to patients of all ages. Dr. Ava Arabshahi DDS was born and raised in Iran before moving to Virginia at the age of 16 and attended Parkview highschool. She then graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) with a bachelor’s degree in biology and a minor in Chemistry. Driven by a desire to make a difference in people’s lives and promote oral wellness, she realized that dentistry was her true calling. After receiving her undergraduate degree Dr. Ava Arabshahi DDS Attended VCU School of dentistry.

Throughout her dental school experience, Dr. Ava Arabshahi DDS remained actively engaged in various organizations, recognizing the importance of community and professional involvement. She dedicated her time to volunteering with organizations such as Mission of Mercy and Give Kids a Smile, providing free dental care to those in need. She is also an active member of American Dental Association (ADA) and Virginia Dental Association (VDA).

One of Dr. Ava Arabshahi DDS’s greatest joys is building strong relationships with her patients. She takes the time to listen attentively, valuing their unique perspectives and tailoring treatment plans to meet their individual needs. By engaging in open and honest communication, she ensures that her patients feel heard, and actively involved in their dental care journey.

Dr. Andrea B. Rodriguez DDS is a cosmetic and family dentist serving the community of Reston, VA. She attended Virginia Commonwealth University, where she received her dental degree. Dr. Andrea B. Rodriguez DDS is a part of ‘Reston Family Dental Center’, where she sees patients for dental consultations, fillings, implants, root canals, and wisdom tooth problems, as well as other common and specialized reasons. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Student Dental Association. Dr. Andrea B. Rodriguez DDS enjoys giving back to her community and has participated in many volunteer activities. She is tri-lingual in English, Spanish, and Portuguese. Dr. Andrea B. Additionally, Dr. Gholam Ali Miamee DDS is a general dentist who graduated from MCV Dental School in March 2009. Dr. Gholam Ali Miamee DDS graduated from dental school with distinction due to extracurricular experience volunteering in the oral surgery clinic at VCU dental school. Dr. Gholam Ali Miamee DDS was allowed to do 100+ extractions in a very fast-paced environment with emphasis on how to properly evaluate a patient’s health history and physical examination. Several oral surgery professors taught dental students like Dr. Gholam Ali Miamee DDS the principles of non-traumatic tooth extraction. Dr. Gholam Ali Miamee DDS currently considers his strongest talents to be CAD/CAM robotic crowns & veneers; in addition to chair-side composite veneers. Dr. Ali Istarabadi graduated from the University of Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates, where he developed the skills to care for patients from many different backgrounds and gained a deep appreciation for cultural diversity in healthcare. He later completed a two-year residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Columbia University in New York City, training at one of Manhattan’s busiest hospitals. This blend of international education and advanced training shaped his ability to deliver thoughtful, comprehensive patient care. 

With a curious mind and a caring heart, Dr. Ali Istarabadi approaches every patient with thoughtful attention and a commitment to creating healthy, confident smiles. For him, dentistry is not just about teeth, it’s about people, growth, and the joy that comes with every smile.
